Riverton Quick Stop Robbed at Gunpoint Late Monday Evening

An armed suspect robbed the Riverton Quick Stop late Monday night as the clerk was closing the store around 10:00 p.m.

The suspect, who was captured on video surveillance, brandished a handgun as the clerk exited the store to take out the trash. He demanded she empty the register and turn over the money before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office investigators are releasing still images of the suspect, who was wearing a red motorcycle helmet, black jacket, blue jeans and light colored tennis shoes.
