Two in Custody Facing Drug Charges
Just after 6:00 a.m., a narcotics related search warrant was executed at 411 North Delaware in Columbus.
The warrant was the result of an investigation by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Police Department into suspicions of illegal drug activity at that home.
During the course of the search, investigators discovered suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia, and other controlled substances (illegally obtained prescription pills).
Arrested at the scene were:
- Lindsey Huston (Hill), 37, of the home. She is being held in the Cherokee County Jail in lieu of $12,000.00 bond on allegations of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 4 counts of Possessing Controlled Substances.
- Charles Eller, 44, of Pittsburg. He is being held without bond on allegations of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a warrant for Failure to Appear in Pittsburg City Court.
All suspects in criminal cases are considered innocent until proven guilty.
