BAXTER SPRINGS TORNADO RESPONSE UPDATE: April 28th, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.


On Tuesday, all volunteers are asked to report to 2402 Military Ave. (Across from Casey’s General Store) at 8:00 a.m. to be issued an identification card that will allow them into the impacted area. No volunteers under the age of 18 will be allowed unless accompanied by an adult. No one without ID will be allowed in the impacted area.


If you were issued a volunteer card today, bring it with you for expedited check in and to be issued a new card that will be valid for Tuesday.

Volunteers should arrive with the appropriate attire, such as jeans, gloves, safety glasses, closed toed shoes / boots. If you are working inside a structure or somewhere there may be an overhead hazard, you are required to wear a hard hat.
