Stephen Uber

Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies investigating an alleged theft from an area church, executed a search warrant at 108 North Jefferson Street in Weir Saturday afternoon.

As a result of their investigation and subsequent search, Stephen Lloyd Uber, 53, of Weir, was taken into custody on allegations of theft and narcotics violations, in addition to having an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court on a prior case.
