Topic: Arrest for Criminal Sodomy of a minor

            On May 18, 2026, members of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office arrested David Plummer, age 40 of Baxter Springs, Kansas for four counts of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy.  Plummer's arrest was the result of an on-going investigation conducted by the Cherokee County Detective Bureau.  Plummer was transported to the Cherokee County Jail where he is currently being held.
