Larry Scott Madden, age 45, was arrested in the early morning hours on 09/20/14 by deputies with Jasper County Sheriff's Office. Madden had an active warrant for his arrest from Cherokee County, Kansas. Madden has been charged with seven (7) counts of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, six (6) counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child, one (1) count Criminal Sodomy and one (1) count indecent Solicitation of a Child. Formal charges on Madden were filed by Cherokee County Attorney Nathan Coleman as the result of a lengthy investigation by the Baxter Springs Police Department. Madden is currently being held in Missouri with No Bond awaiting extradition to Kansas.

Suspects in criminal cases are considered innocent until proven guilty.
